A Ramsey County District Court Judge granted Anthony Ostlund’s motion for summary judgment for its client whose former employer sued him for allegedly violating a Contractor Agreement.
The Court agreed with Anthony Ostlund’s interpretation of the scope of the Contractor Agreement and found that the Contractor Agreement did not prohibit Anthony Ostlund’s client from accepting a new position and that there was no evidence that the former employer was entitled to damages.
The former employer also sued Anthony Ostlund’s client’s new employer for tortious interference with contract. Anthony Ostlund successfully persuaded opposing counsel to dismiss the claims against the new employer shortly after the case was filed.
