Kristin Rowell favorably resolved a five-year dispute with the City of Minneapolis for Anthony Ostlund client Elizabeth Howell.
On December 17, following a successful October 2013 jury trial, Hennepin County District Court declared that: (1) Elizabeth Howell is not responsible for the retaining wall located along West 48th Street near the corner of Drew Avenue South; (2) Elizabeth Howell need not repair and/or replace the retaining wall located along West 48th Street near the corner of Drew Avenue South; (3) the City of Minneapolis must repair and/or replace the retaining wall located along West 48th Street near the corner of Drew Avenue South; (4) the City cannot charge Howell for repair or replacement of the retaining wall located along West 48th Street near the corner of Drew Avenue South.
