Brooke Anthony and Amelia Selvig receive a favorable jury verdict following a jury trial in Hennepin County District Court.
The case of Robert Larson, Personal Representative of the Estate of Marion Levine v. Rebecca and Bradly Caron, involved a dispute over the requirement that the Defendants repay a Promissory Note issued to them by the late Marion Levine. Brooke and Amelia represented Ms. Levine’s estate. Ms. Levine issued the note in 2000 at the age of 80 but by the time that she passed, nine years later; it had still not been paid off. The jury was tasked with determining whether the Promissory Note had been forgiven in 2005. Ultimately, the jury agreed with our client and awarded him the remaining principal, interest and reasonable attorney’s fees.
