Steve Phillips represented a securities brokerage firm in connection with a claim against a former broker to recover on a loan made to the broker.
The broker raised a number of defenses, all of which were rejected by the FINRA arbitrator after a 3-day arbitration hearing.
The firm’s client was awarded over $500,000, which included a full recovery on the loan, interest and all of its attorneys’ fees.
