Anthony Ostlund is pleased to announce that Minneapolis lawyer, Joseph R. Richie, has been elected as a Shareholder in the firm, effective January 1, 2022. Joe has represented a wide range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes federal court trials and arbitrations, to pro bono work on behalf of asylum seekers and those who have had their civil rights violated.
Joe joined Anthony Ostlund in mid-2019 after honing his skills for several years at a premier litigation boutique in New York and serving as a judicial clerk for United States District Court Judge William H. Pauley III of the Southern District of New York.
Commenting on the promotion, firm-CEO Janel Dressen said, “We are thrilled to have Joe become a Shareholder in the firm. Over his time here Joe has demonstrated the skills, judgment, and dedication to providing the highest levels of client service and advocacy, that have made Anthony Ostlund the Midwest’s leading trial boutique for more than three decades.” Dressen also said that “Joe’s talents and experience make him a valuable addition to our team. He also will help round out Anthony Ostlund’s already leading group of young business trial lawyers in the Twin Cities.”
Joe noted, “I’m honored to join the skilled attorneys at Anthony Ostlund as a Shareholder. The firm has a long record of achieving excellent results for its clients, and I look forward to continuing that success into the future.”
