Joe Anthony and Dan Hall of Anthony Ostlund were named 2020 Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer.
Joe and Dan were recognized in the group category for their work in the successful defense of a $42 million breach of fiduciary duty claim. The annual award from Minnesota Lawyer recognizes excellent achievements in the legal profession. Joe and Dan defended the trustee of an irrevocable trust in a twenty-day bench trial, which resulted in a complete dismissal of all claims against their trustee client. Following trial, the judge ruled that Anthony Ostlund’s client “did not breach any fiduciary duties” and “acted at all times in good faith.”
