Super Lawyers uses a patented research and selection process, which includes formal and informal nominations from our peers in the legal community. No more than 5% of Minnesota lawyers are selected to the Super Lawyers list annually. No more than 2.5% are selected to Rising Stars.
This year, Joseph Anthony, Richard Ostlund, Norman Baer, Vince Louwagie, Mary Knoblauch, Randy Gullickson, Steve Phillips, and Kristin Rowell were named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list. Janel Dressen, Courtland Merrill, Shannon Awsumb, Brooke Anthony, Phil Kaplan, and Steve Kerbaugh were named to the Minnesota Rising Stars list.
It was a year of firsts in Super Lawyer and Rising Star selection for our lawyers. After many years of selection to the Rising Star list, Kristin Rowell was selected to the 2014 Super Lawyer list. In addition, Brooke Anthony, Phil Kaplan, and Steve Kerbaugh were selected for the first time to the Minnesota Rising Stars list.
Joseph Anthony was again selected to the Top 10 list and the Top 100 list.
Richard Ostlund and Vince Louwagie were selected to the Top 100 list.
